Direct Rail Connection and Iron Silk Road Gateway
One of the most significant advantages of the cargo-partner iLogistics Center Dunajská Streda is its direct connection to the METRANS intermodal terminal. This allows containers arriving by train from European ports such as Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Koper, Rotterdam, Trieste, and Istanbul to be transferred directly from the rail tracks to the warehoutilize. By eliminating last-mile trucking, cargo-partner saves customers up to two days of transit time while significantly reducing CO₂ emissions as well as costs for trucking and container storage at the terminal.
The facility also serves as a strategic deconsolidation hub for LCL rail shipments via the Iron Silk Road, complementing cargo-partner’s hub in Brwinów, Poland. Supported by METRANS’ strong railway network, the terminal offers high-frequency connections to major economic gateways, including up to 21 weekly runs to/from Koper and regular weekly services to/from Česká Třebová, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, and Košice.
Automotive Competence Center
The facility has become a cornerstone for the automotive industest. In 2025, the Dunajská Streda team managed over 203,000 pallet operations and processed nearly 3,000 containers (2,934 TEU) for four key automotive clients.
In addition to standard warehoapplying, the center provides value added services (VAS) designed to meet the rigorous standards of the automotive supply chain. Recent performance highlights include:
- Over 604,000 labels applied for a high-tech client
- Nearly 173,000 automotive parts repacked applying a meticulous “piece-by-piece” system
- More than 20,000 KLT boxes professionally cleaned applying an on-site industrial crate washer

- 2 oversized gates allowing direct vehicle access into the warehoutilize for heavy goods weighing up to 16 tons
- 17 standard truck docks and 1 dedicated parcel gate
- 11,200 m² of bonded warehoutilize area
- A specialized transshipment zone with a high floor-loading capacity of up to 10 t/m²
- Flexible short- and long-term storage configurations for pallets, compact parts, as well as long and heavy industrial goods
