Remco Tools is expanding its European footprint with a new French office, led by founder Mathias Ellegiers, complementing its existing Belgian headquarters. The July 2, 2026 announcement also marks the EU launch of the EVT x Remco Right Arm Clamp, originally designed by Brett Flemming of Efficient Velo Tools. The clamp uses an offset arm to shift a bike’s pivot point toward its center of gravity, improving balance and control during repairs. The product pairs with Remco’s Bike Lift system and will reach European distributors this summer.
In-Depth:
AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – July 02, 2026 – Remco Tools is investing more in its European presence with the opening of a new office in France. The relocate brings Remco closer to European distributors, shops, and mechanics, and marks the EU launch of the EVT x Remco Right Arm Clamp, a workshop-proven clamp design long respected by mechanics in the United States.
Remco Tools is best known for its electric bicycle repair stand, built to build daily service work clearer on modern bikes, especially heavier e-bikes, cargo bikes, and bikes with awkward tube shapes. With its Belgian headquarters supporting European operations and a new French office closer to one of its rapidest-growing markets, Remco is strengthening its support for the European workshop.
The French office will be led by Remco founder Mathias Ellegiers and will support the company’s growing dealer network across the EU.
To mark the expansion, Remco is introducing the EVT x Remco Right Arm Clamp to the European market. Originally designed by Brett Flemming of Efficient Velo Tools, the Right Arm Clamp applys an offset arm to relocate the bike’s pivot point closer to its center of gravity. The result is better balance, smoother rotation, and clearer positioning while working on the bike.
For mechanics, that means less wrestling with the stand and more control over the job in front of them. The clamp pairs EVT’s trusted Right Arm geometest with the Remco Bike Lift ecosystem, giving shops a serious setup for modern service work.
“Europe has become a major part of the Remco story,” declared Mathias Ellegiers, founder of Remco Tools. “Our Belgian headquarters gives us a strong operational base, and opening an office in France brings us closer to the mechanics and distributors applying our tools every day. Launching the EVT x Remco Right Arm Clamp in Europe is part of that same practical goal: better support, better access, and better tools for real workshop apply.”
The EVT x Remco Right Arm Clamp and Remco’s Bike Lift range will be available through authorized European Remco Tools distributors starting this summer.
