Pixxel, an Indian space technology firm, just secured a $100 million Series C, marking the largest single round ever raised by an Indian space-tech startup. The influx pushed Asia’s startup funding total for the week to $218.3 million, with fresh capital landing across six sectors.
Investor appetite for Asia’s startups shows no signs of cooling. This week’s activity spanned space technology, quick commerce, quantum cybersecurity, AI, logistics, and climate technology. India dominated the leaderboard, though companies in Vietnam and Singapore also pulled in new money.
Pixxel’s Series C came from Temasek and Seraphim, with new participation from 360 ONE Asset and IMM Investment. Returning backers Radical Ventures and growX Ventures also joined. The deal brings Pixxel’s cumulative funding to $195 million. Originally focused on hyperspectral satellites for Earth observation, the company has broadened into Earth intelligence software and satellite systems serving both commercial and government clients.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru-based HerSpace Manufacturing raised $40 million from Gray Matters Capital. The existing investor previously put $10 million into the company in 2025. This latest commitment will disburse over 30 months through debt, equity, and quasi-equity instruments. Plans call for expansion across Greater Bengaluru, Hosur, Chennai, and Andhra Pradesh as HerSpace scales its worker accommodation business for industrial employees.
Rounding out the top rounds, quick food delivery startup Swish pulled in approximately $24 million. Bertelsmann India Investments led the extended Series B for the Bengaluru company. Swish intends to channel the capital toward growing its rapid food delivery footprint. Investor enthusiasm for quick-commerce models across India continues to build, giving companies like Swish room to expand aggressively.
The week’s activity points to a sustained regional funding momentum. As space-tech and quick-commerce attract larger checks, India’s startup scene keeps widening its lead while smaller ecosystems in Southeast Asia gain ground.
