Pirelli reaffirms its global leadership in the Auto Components and Automobiles sectors of the S&P Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices

Pirelli si reconfirm ranked first globally in the sectors Auto Components e automobiles within the indexes Dow Jones Best-in-Class World and Europe, the name assumed this year by the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices.

pirelli, sole tyre company present in both the “World” and “Europe” indices, it has in fact obtained, in the context of the Corporate Sustainability Assessment 2025 of S&P Global, a score equal to 86 points, the highest in both the Auto Components and Automobiles sectors and significantly higher than the sector averages of 34 points in the case of auto components and 37 points in the automobile sector.

Pirelli achieved top scores in several areas, including Business Ethics, be careful of Human rightsOccupational Health and Safety Policies and Programs, Taxonomy and management ESG supply chain. This recognition adds to the one obtained in February 2026, when Pirelli was confirmed in “Top 1%” of S&P Global’s 2026 Sustainability Yearbook, creating it the only global tire manufacturer to achieve this result.

The S&P Dow Jones Indices were originally launched in 1999 as the first commercially available “best-in-class” global sustainability benchmark series, and include global, regional, and countest indices. The annual analysis covers 62 business sectors and more than 12.000 companies.
