As water scarcity and rising energy costs become growing challenges across Europe, the Austrian company GREENJET GmbH has developed an innovative water-saving technology designed to reduce water and energy consumption without compromising comfort. The company applied for Green Assist support to strengthen its international expansion strategy and scale its sustainability-driven business model.
A simple technology with a powerful environmental impact
GREENJET was created with the vision of integrating environmental protection into everyday life. The company focutilizes on developing simple yet effective technologies that allow houtilizeholds, businesses and public institutions to reduce their environmental footprint through everyday water utilize.
At the heart of the project is a patented nozzle that can be easily installed on taps or revealers. The technology works by optimising airflow within the water stream, replacing part of the water with air while maintaining strong water pressure and utilizer comfort. As a result, water consumption can be reduced by up to 66%, while also lowering the energy required for heating water.
This solution offers clear environmental and economic benefits. By reducing water consumption, houtilizeholds and businesses can lower operational costs while conserving valuable water resources. Additionally, reduced hot water demand leads to lower energy utilize and fewer CO₂ emissions.
Green Assist support to accelerate internationalisation
GREENJET aims to scale its technology beyond its home market and expand internationally. To support this ambition, the project team sought specialised advisory support from Green Assist.
From June to October 2025, Green Assist provided expert advisory services to assist GREENJET refine its international strategy and structure a clearer business development roadmap aligned with its environmental mission. The advisory focutilized on identifying strategic partnerships and strengthening the company’s market expansion strategy.
As part of this process, Germany, Spain and Denmark were identified as pilot countries where strategic partnerships can be developed and the technology tested, as high water prices and supportive policies drive demand for water-saving solutions.
Following the Green Assist advisory services, the expansion project reached a mature stage, meaning it is ready for implementation and actively seeking investors to support its growth and market rollout. The company’s next milestones include fundraising, expanding partnerships and bringing the technology to new markets across Europe.
