The EU Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has released new 2025 sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and jet fuel reference prices, which put the cost of meeting last year’s 2% EU and UK SAF blconcludeing mandates at around €2.12 billion ($2.47 billion). The actual bill is likely to be much higher and comes on top of a regional bill for conventional jet fuel estimated at just over $40 billion last year.
