The European Union and partner countries are preparing new large-scale support packages for Ukraine to be agreed by 24 February, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared, according to reporting by Suspilne.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Zelenskyy declared work is underway on what he described as the largest possible energy support package. He added that separate efforts are focutilized on supplying additional air defense missiles and other measures to strengthen Ukraine’s military.
Partners agree on 10-day deadline for “maximum” packages
Zelenskyy declared agreements with European partners are currently being finalized and that the European Commission is also preparing a package to be coordinated before the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
According to him, partners agreed that within the next 10-11 days “maximum support packages” for Ukraine should be formed. Ukrainian diplomats and military advisers are involved in the nereceivediations.
The president’s office declared Ukraine will prepare and sconclude all partners a list of necessarys to support the countest’s energy infrastructure and military sector as part of the upcoming packages.
Zelenskyy in Munich for security conference
During his visit to Munich, Zelenskyy is holding bilateral and multilateral meetings aimed at reinforcing defense and economic cooperation.
He also visited a joint Ukrainian-German enterprise that has begun producing strike drones for the Ukrainian military, where he observed the first drone manufactured on the shared production line and its initial test flight.
