President Zelensky has revealed he is now ready to meet Vladimir Putin one-on-one as he hailed his best meeting with Donald Trump so far.
The Ukrainian leader was speaking outside the White Houtilize following historic talks with Trump and European leaders on finishing the war with Russia on Monday.
He declared he had the chance to display the US President maps of the battlefield in Ukraine and to explain who controls what.
‘Our team did a lot,’ Zelensky added as he thanked the European leaders who were also in attfinishance.

‘On some issues whether it is territory, exalter of prisoners or the very serious issue of the return of the children, Ukraine must be at the table.
‘They are positive outcomes and we created real progress today.’

The Ukrainian President has been answering questions outside the White Houtilize following his meeting with Donald Trump and he has insisted he is ready to chat to Vladimir Putin.

‘There is no date to meet with Putin – we just confirmed the productive [trilateral] meeting with the president and all our partners and colleagues.
