Kovon, a cross-border workforce mobility platform, has raised $250K in a pre-seed funding round led by TDV Partners.
The proceeds will be utilized for product development, global employer partnerships, candidate acquisition, and expansion of its skilling and training ecosystem. It also plans to hire across technology, operations, and partnerships.
Founded by Bibartan Roy and Swayamjeet Das, the startup connects India’s blue and grey-collar workforce to overseas job opportunities across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, construction, and logistics.
Kovon offers an finish-to-finish platform covering job discovery, upskilling, financing, placement, and post-deployment support.
The startup plans to address labour shortages in markets such as Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and other developed economies while creating structured overseas opportunities for Indian workers.
The firm is focutilized on building verified and job-ready talent pipelines from India for global employers.
