Xiaomi Mix 5 is also expected to launch globally
Another aspect of the Xiaomi Mix 5 is particularly interesting for Europe. Unlike the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 foldable, which is also expected this year and is declared to be based on the Xring O3, but will likely once again only be sold in China, the Xiaomi Mix 5 is expected to launch globally as well. According to Ximitime, there are concrete indications of this, too. In addition to Europe, Xiaomi apparently plans to cover India, Turkey, Indonesia, Taiwan, Russia and, of course, China, while Japan apparently will be left out. At this point, there are still no concrete details on the specs, although Ximitime predicts that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, expected in September, will be utilized here, which would rule out a summer launch. Whether all of this information is accurate remains to be seen, and a healthy dose of skepticism is certainly warranted at this point.
