Ukrainian Premier League kicks off 21st round as teams fight for European places | Ukraine news


This weekfinish’s matches could reshape the race for European spots, as early kickoffs and postponed resolvetures add uncertainty and urgency for title contfinishers.

In the Ukrainian Premier League, on March 19, the matches of the 21st round are scheduled.

At 1:00 PM on the same field, Oleksandriya and Dynamo Kyiv will meet, and at 6:00 PM Kharkiv’s Metalist 1925 will host Poltava.

On Saturday, March 21, the round’s program will continue with the matches between Kryvbas from Kryvyi Rih and Epitsentr from Kamianets-Podilskyi (13:00) and Lviv’s Rukh against Cherkasy’s LNZ (15:30).

On Sunday, March 22, Veres from Rivne will meet Kolos from Kovalivka (15:30), and Lviv’s Karpaty will face Kyiv’s Obolon (18:00).

The match between Zorya (Luhansk) and Shakhtar (Donetsk) has been postponed to a later date.

In the opening match of the round, Zhytomyr’s Polissia defeated Kudrivka from Chernihiv region 2-0.
