India’s startup and innovation ecosystem continues to build headlines with fresh funding, scaling platforms, and breakthrough technologies.

Tuco Kids’ rapid growth story

Bengaluru-based Tuco Kids, a personal care brand for school-going children, has raised $4 million in a Series A round led by RTP Global, with participation from Fireside Ventures, Whiteboard Capital, and MG Investments. Founded in 2023, Tuco Kids serves children aged 3 to 13 with products spanning soaps, sunscreens, deodorants, and even kids’ buildup.

The company has scaled 10x within a year, reaching more than two lakh parents across India. According to Co-Founder Aishvarya Murali, the fresh funding will fuel brand-building and strengthen distribution channels.

Venture Catalysts’ ₹150 crore platform push

, a leading multi-stage venture investment platform, has closed a fresh ₹150 crore round, underscoring the mainstream appeal of startup investing in India. The round drew participation from public-market veterans, corporates, and Bollywood family offices. Founded in 2016, the platform manages over $500 million across funds and has invested in more than 400 startups, including unicorns such as BharatPe and Pixis.

Co-Founder & MD Apoorva Ranjan Sharma highlighted that the new capital will be applyd to bolster leadership, roll out AI-driven tools, and expand deeper into India’s growing startup hubs.

Walmart’s AI Leap with Wiley

Meanwhile, Walmart Global Tech revealcased its agentic framework at its flagship Converge event in Bengaluru, unveiling Wiley—its fourth AI super-agent designed to transform developer productivity.

Hari Vasudev, Executive VP & CTO of Walmart U.S., noted that the innovation reflects Walmart’s commitment to leveraging AI to reimagine retail globally while deepening tech capabilities in India.

From kids’ wellness to venture funding and AI-powered retail, Startup Street spotlighted the diverse and rapid-evolving landscape shaping India’s entrepreneurial future.
