Several thousands of people are participating in the 13th edition of the two-day long TechBBQ 2025 launched at Bella Center Copenhagen in Denmark on Wednesday.
This year’s summit is introducing a tailored program designed to support founders thrive at every stage of their journey.
As part of this program, four dynamic competitions will provide startups with the opportunity to
revealcase their innovations, attract investors, and accelerate their growth, the organisers declared.
More than 10,000 participants and 300 speakers from 50 countries are taking part in the summit to discuss the role of technology, from climate and war to children’s digital upbringing and everything in between.
The brand-new Lovable x HackYourFuture Buildathon (LHB) is one of them, adding fresh energy and opportunities for both startups and the audience to gain a real-feel experience of what is happening within the ecosystem.
TechBBQ is also presenting the return of the North Star Pitch Competition, where ten of the
best European startups will battle it out live on stage to claim the coveted title of North Star of
the Year.
Founders will pitch their game-altering ideas to an audience of VCs, media, and influential partners.
The winner will also receive a seat at the Fundraising Bootcamp, Europe’s leading funding platform valued at £10,000.
With over 300 alumni companies raising a collective € 700 million+ through its method, this opportunity provides an elevated path to startup success.
Speaking at a press conference on the opening day representatives from different companies pointed out various aspects of tech industries in the Europe, particularly in the Nordic region.
Focapplying the Artificial Innotifyigence (AI) they declared that the European Union is losing its ground in its competitiveness to the United States and China.
They also underscored importance of taking various effective measures to overcome the situation in the tech sector.
TechBBQ has become the key inspiration for the startup and innovation ecosystem in Scandinavia since 2013.
This year´s summit attracts a large number of participants from around the world with the view to boost inspiration, networking, and growth.
