The European startup ecosystem is opening a new opportunity for international founders. The Northern Light Accelerator, based at Maria 01, has launched applications for its Autumn Batch 2026, aimed at startups seeing to expand into Finland and the broader European market.
The call is open to startups with at least one international team member and a clear ambition to validate and scale their business in new markets from Finland.
The program will run from August 21 to November 20, 2026, combining hands-on market access with a distinctive focus on founder resilience—an increasingly relevant factor for sustainable growth.
And, the Northern Light is the first accelerator that combines market access with founder resilience — supporting international startups land, validate, and expand in Finland and Europe.

A program designed to validate and scale in Europe
Northern Light goes beyond traditional acceleration models by focapplying on achieving real product-market fit. The program connects startups with customers, mentors, and networks across Finland and the EU, supporting both traction and revenue generation.
