Rabat – A Moroccan industrial technology firm has struck a deal that will push AI-driven predictive maintenance into European factories, starting with France.
OCP Maintenance Solutions, a subsidiary of Morocco’s OCP Group, will partner with NTN Europe to help manufacturers catch equipment failures before they trigger expensive shutdowns. The alliance pairs OCP’s machine learning and industrial data capabilities with NTN’s deep experience in bearings, rotating machinery, and diagnostics.
The rollout begins in France, where both companies plan to tailor the technology to local industrial requirements before expanding across the continent.
Under the agreement, NTN Europe contributes through its SNR brand, bringing decades of expertise in rotating equipment. OCP Maintenance Solutions supplies its proprietary i-Sense and i-Predict platforms, which rely on vibration analysis and artificial intelligence to flag early warning signs of mechanical failure.
The combined offering spans the entire maintenance workflow. That includes identifying critical assets, analyzing operational data, diagnosing faults, and guiding maintenance decisions.
The partnership emerged from nearly twelve months of collaboration. Joint testing on bearings and rotating systems took place at NTN Europe’s technical facilities. Meanwhile, OCP Maintenance Solutions draws on deployments already completed in Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire, Pakistan, and India.
“Industrial companies no longer expect only high-performance technologies; they expect measurable results,” said Abdenour Jbili, CEO of OCP Maintenance Solutions. He emphasized that the alliance combines complementary strengths to sustainably improve equipment availability and operational performance.
Eric Malavasi, Vice President of NTN Europe, framed the deal as a move beyond selling individual components. “This alliance reflects our desire to support our customers beyond our products by providing solutions that address the new challenges of industrial maintenance,” he said.
Founded in 2020, OCP Maintenance Solutions employs more than 350 people and operates in Morocco and Saudi Arabia, serving clients across nine-plus countries. The new partnership grants the company a direct route into Europe through NTN Europe, part of Japan’s NTN Corporation.
NTN Europe operates 14 production sites and a research and development center across the continent. The company posted €1.2 billion in revenue in 2024 with over 5,000 employees. As a result, the partnership gives OCP’s predictive technology immediate access to a substantial European industrial footprint.
