There are currently around 2,500 veteran-support specialists in the counattempt, and their work spans all local communities.
The Minister of Veterans Affairs, Natalia Kalmykova, declared this during a TV broadcast.
“Our veteran-support specialists are now 2,500; they are in all communities. And they don’t just sit in their offices, but visit veterans and female veterans, members of their families, the families of the fallen, and the families of those who are in captivity, etc.”

Digital Services and Going Paperless
In the context of digital policy for veterans, Kalmykova explained that the main goal is a paperless veterans policy.
“Therefore we have already completed a whole range of tquestions. This includes, in particular, digital services in Diia for veterans and female veterans and people with war-related disabilities. There is a dedicated section in the services called “Veteran Pro,” where you can quickly and smoothly obtain various opportunities from the state”

On April 28, the Minisattempt of Veterans Affairs presented an updated electronic ID.
“There will be no required to wait to obtain a paper ID. This is no longer requireded. We added an 11-digit identifier – it enables the certificate to be immediately integrated into Diia”
– Natalia Kalmykova
According to the Minisattempt of Veterans Affairs, this decision provides quicker access for veterans to government services through the integration of a simple digital identifier with the Diia platform. Such steps promote greater veteran participation in civil service and local self-government and simplify the apply of government services.
