Rezolv, an AI startup focused on lending technology, just banked $12.5 million in Series A financing. The round gives the young company fresh capital to automate debt collection and loan servicing for India’s financial institutions.
Norwest led the investment, with Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India plus existing backer 3one4 Capital joining in. This follows a $3.5 million seed round from 3one4 Capital in March 2025, pushing total funding to $16 million.
Founded in 2024 by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, the duo behind digital lending platform Kissht, Rezolv builds tools for banks and non-banking financial companies. Their platform automates workflows across the lending lifecycle, covering everything from initial welcome calls to pre-delinquency outreach and loan write-offs.
The startup plans to channel the fresh funds into strengthening AI across sales, risk assessment, underwriting, and collections. Voice agents capable of operating in 11 Indian languages handle sales calls, customer support, and collection duties.
Scale already looks significant. Rezolv reports partnerships with 22-plus banks and NBFCs, including ICICI Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, Bajaj Auto Credit, and Five-Star Business Finance. The platform processes 6.5 million minutes of borrower conversations monthly and manages collections for over 12 million loan accounts across India.
Jindal framed the opportunity around measurement rather than adoption. Organizations no longer struggle to implement AI, she said. The harder question involves quantifying business impact. Rezolv aims to answer that for debt collections by tracking recovery rates, cost, productivity, and workforce optimization.
Mehta added the raise moves the company closer to becoming an integrated part of the lending lifecycle. It also provides confidence to take products into global markets.
Rezolv’s full-stack platform positions the startup to push lending infrastructure toward measurable outcomes, with international expansion now on the roadmap.
