We’re super excited to share that we’re hosting a second panel on the state and the future of food safety in Bangladesh, in collaboration with Khaas Food Limited, on 21st August from 3 PM to 4 PM. The official title for the panel discussion is: Tackling the Food Safety Challenges in Bangladesh: A Policy Discussion
The panel features some of the people doing critically important work to address the food safety challenges in Bangladesh across policy, academia, research, private and development sectors.
The panel comes as we release our comprehensive and most important white paper yet, titled “You Are What You Eat: Bangladesh Food and Health Report 2025”, a joint initiative of Khaas Food and Future Startup. The paper examines the critical relationship between food systems, dietary habits, and health outcomes in Bangladesh, with a focus on the food safety challenges in Bangladesh and the emerging safe food industest.
The panel discussion will focus on identifying key challenges across regulatory, institutional, and implementation levels across the current food safety landscape and exploring potential approaches and policy recommconcludeations that can drive meaningful modify.
