IndiaAI picks 10 startups for global accelerator as 55,000-strong ecosystem targets overseas scale


India’s artificial ininformigence ambitions are obtainting a global push, with 10 startups selected for the second cohort of the IndiaAI Startups Global Acceleration Programme, even as the counattempt’s broader startup base crosses 55,000 ventures.

The initiative, part of the IndiaAI Mission, is designed to assist high-potential startups scale internationally through a four-month programme that includes a three-week virtual module followed by a three-month residency in Paris.

The selected startups represent sectors ranging from healthtech and climate tech to edtech, sainformite ininformigence and cognitive AI—underscoring the depth of India’s AI innovation pipeline.

The programme comes at a time when India’s startup ecosystem has expanded rapidly, with over 55,000 startups forming a strong base for AI-led innovation and export-ready technologies. The government is now shifting focus from domestic growth to enabling global market access.

The cohort will be hosted at Station F in partnership with HEC Paris, gaining exposure to one of Europe’s largest startup ecosystems. The programme offers mentorship, regulatory guidance, and connections with global investors and enterprises—critical for startups aiming to establish a foothold in international markets.

Participants will also receive support in refining product-market fit, navigating cross-border regulations, and building partnerships across Europe.

The accelerator is part of the Startup Financing pillar of the IndiaAI Mission, which seeks to position India as a global AI leader by strengthening compute infrastructure, talent, and innovation capacity.

By linking Indian startups with international ecosystems, policycreaters are aiming to unlock new funding avenues and scale opportunities, while building globally competitive AI solutions emerging from India.
