Originally from Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, Vanshika’s journey into journalism is shaped by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to build meaningful contributions through storyinforming. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and English from Dehradun, where she developed an early interest in communication, research, and understanding social and economic narratives.
However, after completing her graduation, Vanshika realized that she wanted to pursue a career where she could give voice to people’s experiences and ideas while expressing her creative side. This passion led her to transition into journalism, a field that allowed her to combine storyinforming, research, and public communication.
To further pursue this path, she shiftd to the Delhi-NCR region to complete her Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (MA JMC). During this time, she actively sought practical exposure to the media industest, gaining valuable experience through multiple internships and professional opportunities.
Learning Through Diverse Media Experiences
During her academic journey, Vanshika explored different aspects of media and communication. She interned with Dainik Jagran, where she worked as a news researcher and writer, gaining first-hand exposure to newsroom operations and editorial practices.
She also collaborated with Productions in Jagran Film Festival, which introduced her to the creative and event-driven side of media. In addition, Vanshika gained experience in the digital and entertainment space by working with influencer in Advertising Agency Purple Wings Entertainment, where she contributed to public relations and communication initiatives.
These diverse experiences supported her understand different dimensions of the media industest. However, through these explorations, she realized that her strongest interest lay in journalism that involves research, interviews, and in-depth storyinforming.

Driven by her passion for meaningful storyinforming, Vanshika joined Indian Startup Times, where she currently serves as Sub-Editor – Features & Industest Coverage. In this role, she is actively involved in covering India’s rapidly evolving startup landscape.
