Numbersgame now supports Xero, expanding beyond its QuickBooks Online integration. The Claude MCP provider gives accounting firms a single controlled connection for all client books, replacing the old model of separate, all-or-nothing permissions for each client.
The announcement arrives as accounting platforms race to embed AI and automation across financial workflows. Providers increasingly position themselves as secure bridges between enterprise systems and emerging AI tools.
Fortanix joined the Open Secure AI Alliance, an industry coalition led by Nvidia focused on protecting the full AI stack. The alliance pools research and builds shared infrastructure across a multi-vendor ecosystem. Separately, Fortanix partnered with CrowdStrike to combine the Falcon platform with Fortanix Confidential AI. Expensify unveiled native integration with ERP provider Rillet. The two-way sync maps Rillet categories, dimensions, and tax rates into Expensify at point of spend. Out-of-pocket expenses post back as vendor bills, company card spend becomes credit card charges, and reimbursements stay synced.
GATHER.nexus debuted Complex Consolidations for QBO and Xero users. The tool automates group-level accounting for acquisitions, disposals, goodwill, fair value adjustments, partial acquisitions, non-controlling interests, and multi-level hierarchies. Every adjustment carries an audit trail with drill-down visibility. The release extends existing intercompany and reconciliation capabilities into complex ownership structures.
