Corteva names seed spinout: AgriFood Signals

Corteva has named its seed business spinoff Vylor, targeting a fourth-quarter 2026 separation. The agricultural giant’s announcement comes amid significant agrifood industry activity, including AI grocery startup Vori securing $22 million to help independent retailers compete with major chains like Walmart and Amazon. London-based Meatly raised £10.4 million to construct Europe’s largest cultivated meat bioreactor facility, while Biosphere obtained Pentagon funding for portable “protein from air” bioreactors. Crystal Crop Protection acquired FMC’s India business operations. General Mills appointed Dana McNabb as chief operating officer.
