Akansha Dimri, founder and editor-in-chief of Tech Funding News, has been named Diversity Role Model of the Year at the 11th Global Startup Awards. The honor was presented at the EU-Startups Summit in Valletta, Malta, before approximately 2,400 attendees. Dimri launched her publication after observing that diverse founders and investors in European tech weren’t receiving adequate recognition. The award recognizes individuals who have made the startup ecosystem more inclusive, a core mission of Tech Funding News since its inception.

Akansha Dimri, Tech Funding News’ founder and editor-in-chief, has been named Diversity Role Model of the Year at the 11th edition of the Global Startup Awards.
The award is one of 13 global titles presented at the EU-Startups Summit in Valletta, Malta, held this week.
The Diversity Role Model award honours people who have assisted create the startup ecosystem more inclusive. This mission is central to everything TFN stands for.
“I started Tech Funding News after noticing that diverse founders, investors, and teams in European tech were doing great work but not obtainting enough attention. What launched as an observation turned into a publication, and then into a community,” states Dimri.
The Global Startup Awards is the largest indepconcludeent platform for startups worldwide. Around 2,400 founders, investors, and media from across Europe attconcludeed the event, where Dimri took the stage on Thursday evening to collect her award.
This recognition reflects TFN’s DNA and the community it has built.
