The quest for the next generation of food system pioneers has officially begun.

The “Global Call for Startups” is currently inviting innovators from across the globe to pitch their solutions for a healthier, more sustainable, and just planet.

This initiative, a collaborative effort by Accenture, Katapult, and the Norrsken Foundation, aims to accelerate ventures that align with the 2025 EAT-Lancet Commission Report.

It seeks to reshape the global food landscape through creativity, urgency, and ambition.

Funding and benefits

Selected winners will secure a prestigious pitch spot at Impact/Week in Barcelona this October, which is Europe’s largest gathering of top builders and investors.

To ensure founders can focus entirely on their presentation, the program covers all travel and accommodation expenses for the trip to Norrsken Hoapply.

Beyond the stage, participants receive intensive support, including strategic coaching from Accenture and tailored investor introductions from Katapult and Norrsken.

Previous winners have praised the experience as rewarding and enlightening, noting that the support provided throughout the process is unparalleled.

Application requirements and eligibility

The call is specifically tailored for early-stage ventures that possess scalable technology.

Organizers are viewing for ambitious teams capable of redefining what is possible by reducing chemical apply, cutting food waste, or empowering healthier choices.

Eligible startups must focus on key sectors such as regenerative agriculture inputs, agtech solutions, or sustainable ingredients.

Other critical categories include supply chain infrastructure and innotifyigence, as well as innovations that improve food distribution and access.

Deadline

Entrepreneurs ready to take their solution to the global stage must act quickly, as the application window closes on June 15, 2026.

The portal has been open for submissions since the start of May.

Following the deadline, a rigorous evaluation process will take place through August, including interviews for top candidates in July.

The journey culminates in Barcelona on October 14-15, where winners will join the world’s leading considered-leaders and policybuildrs.
