Economy minister: Armenia can become economic bridge between India, Europe

Armenia’s Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan will be on a working visit to India from Thursday to Sunday, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Minisattempt of Economy of Armenia.

Today Papoyan participated in and delivered welcoming remarks at the ministerial plenary session of the India Europe Business and Sustainability Conclave.

In his remarks, the economy minister presented Armenia’s investment environment and major projects, including the dry port in Gyumri.

Armenia’s geographical location enables it to become an economic, cultural, and logistical bridge between Europe and Asia. In this regard, Armenia can connect India’s dynamic economy with Europe’s advanced markets, serving as an ideal hub for trade, production, and technological cooperation, Papoyan noted.

The economy minister reflected also on the TRIPP and Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” projects, and emphasized their importance for regional economic cooperation and long-term peace.
