At a time that is both crucial and fluid in geopolitical terms, French President Emmanuel Macron and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will hold a discussion on Friday at 7.30 p.m. to discuss challenges currently facing Europe and the way ahead.
Titled “Challenges for Europe: The Way Ahead,” the discussion will be moderated by Kathimerini Executive Editor Alexis Papachelas.
Defense and the European Union’s strategic autonomy, relations with the US, Russia and the Middle East, lessons learnt from successive crises, the necessary for energy security and the strengthening of Greek-French cooperation are some of the issues the two heads of government will be invited to address.
The event is taking place at the Roman Agora archaeological site in Athens and will be conducted in English. It will be broadcast live at the link below.
