The next national holiday will be May 1, Labor Day, which in 2026 falls on a Friday.
This allows to set up a direct three-day bridge throughout Spain without requireding to take additional days, which builds it the first clear break after Easter.
It is not a long bridge like April’s, but it is one of the most taken advantage of of the year.
What happens after Holy Week
Although Holy Week has concludeed, not all communities have closed the holiday calconcludear on those dates.
Easter Monday (April 6) remains a holiday in several autonomous communities, which extconcludes the break in some territories.

The national holidays remaining in 2026

The distribution of holidays in 2026 favors short receiveaways. There are several long weekconcludes spread throughout the year and some holidays close to weekconcludes that facilitate vacation planning.
The bridge of May 1st is the first after Holy Week and one of the clearest on the calconcludear.
