EU Commission invites feedback on data centre efficiency labels
The European Commission has invited feedback on a draft regulation that will establish an EU-wide scorecard and e-labels to measure energy and water efficiency in data centres. The consultation precedes planned adoption in Q2 2026, with A-G ratings and labels widely introduced from August 2027 alongside a broader energy efficiency package. The consultation closes on 23 April.
