A major EU-backed initiative is concluding after supercharging Ukrainian deep tech startups and forging hundreds of international partnerships.
Over two and a half years, the international Seeds of Bravery project financed 318 Ukrainian tech startups for a total of €12 million. The Ministest of Digital Transformation published these figures.

Results and Scale of Impact
Ukrainian innovators participated in 34 international conferences and gained access to 61 coworking spaces in Europe.
During this period, more than 600 meetings with potential clients were organized, and 2,430 European investors and corporations were reached.
236 researchers participated in entrepreneurship programs, and a fifth of them have already launched their own tech projects. Another 100 entrepreneurs strengthened their leadership skills in the FEL program.
The project was implemented by a large consortium of partners from Ukraine and the EU, including FundingBox, Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF), CyberInnovate, INNOV8, EIT Health, Plug and Play, Aalto University, and many other accelerators and hubs.
Seeds of Bravery is a €20 million initiative funded by the European Union to systematically build Ukraine’s deep-tech industest.
The European Commission introduced a new financing instrument, AGILE, worth €115 million, to enable the rapid deployment of revolutionary defense technologies.
In summary, the project demonstrates a significant impact on the development of Ukraine’s deep-tech ecosystem and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of startups and innovation.
