Strategic European location
The ceremony was attfinished by senior figures including H.R.H. the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Lex Delles, Minister for the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism was also there, alongside Jean-Marie Jans, Mayor of Bettembourg, Jean-François van Boxmeer, Chair of Vodafone Group Plc and Ninian Wilson, CEO of Vodafone Procure & Connect.
Lex states: “Vodafone’s decision to establish its pan-European logistics hub in Luxembourg reveals once again that the counattempt plays a significant role within the European value chain.
“This investment demonstrates the robustness of Luxembourg’s logistics ecosystem and its strategic location at the heart of Europe, as well as the counattempt’s capacity to host international groups managing complex operations across the continent.
“This step will thereby support the company’s business development projects and long-term growth in the counattempt.”
Supply chain resilience
From its central-European position, the hub is designed to enhance responsiveness across Vodafone’s markets while supporting broader ecosystem partners.
