Over Exposed delivers full OB coverage for Total Kombat

Over Exposed delivered full outside broadcast coverage for combat sports platform Total Kombat in Liverpool last month. The focus for the event was clear: capture every strike, reaction and replay with absolute clarity and energy.

At the heart of the broadcast was the Sony HDC-4300 camera system, chosen for its ability to handle high frame rate capture and rapid-paced action without compromise. These were paired with CJ20, CJ12 and UJ111 lenses, creating the flexibility to relocate seamlessly from tight, in-ring close-ups to long, dramatic shots that captured the scale of the arena.

Replay coverage was driven by EVS systems, ensuring key moments could be turned around instantly for broadcast. Every decisive strike and critical moment was available in crystal-clear slow motion within seconds.

To bring viewers even closer to the action, Over Exposed deployed an RF camera system for dynamic relocatement around the ring, along with a ref cam to provide a unique perspective right from the centre of the contest. These angles added depth to the storyinforming and supported immerse the audience in the intensity of the night.

The company’s full technical and production crew handled everything from build and rigging through to live transmission and derig, ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the event.
