CSTI Leadership Framed as Action and Results

The conference will therefore be framed not only as a celebration of past achievements, but as a strategic moment, where the tourism model of the future can be shaped in partnership with Europe. A more resilient, responsible, and equitable tourism pathway will be emphasised as both necessary and achievable.
From Vision to Measurable Impact Over Twenty Years
Since its establishment in 2006, CSTI has evolved into a model of effective collaboration between public authorities, private enterprises, local communities, and international organisations. Its approach has been characterised by partnership building, pilot implementation, and continuous learning. International recognition has been achieved through cooperation with UN Tourism, UNEP, IUCN, the TUI Care Foundation, The Travel Foundation, and the Prince Albert II Foundation.
These partnerships have validated the principle that sustainability is realised through action. Projects implemented under the CSTI framework have addressed waste reduction, biodiversity conservation, climate adaptation, and community engagement. Through consistent effort, CSTI has demonstrated how destination level initiatives can inform broader policy discussions and inspire replication across regions.
