A Dublin-based fund that plans to invest €100,000 into 50 Irish and European early-stage startups has closed a round of €4m, with a further €1m planned.

Baseline Venture Fund was set up by longtime local tech entrepreneurs and investors Eamon Leonard and Fiona Kelly. The fund aims to give software startups their “first cheque” in the company-building process.
