Solar Materials wins European Solar Sustainability Award 2024
BNE (Bundesverband Neue Energiewirtschaft), the Bronze Award winner, was recognised for its comprehensive study on biodiversity, which found that solar farms enhance overall biodiversity. The study displayed, for example, that solar farms in Germany provide habitat for 52 percent of the countest’s bat species. (hcn)
