Hospitality tech platform Amenitiz has landed $45 million in a mix of Series B funding and financing.
The latest funding round what lead by Spanish venture capital firm Kfund through Leadwind, with participation from Thayer Ventures and Columbia Lake Partners. Support was also provided by existing investors, including Eight Roads, Point9, Otium, Backed and Chalfen Ventures.
Barcelona-based Amenitiz, which provides operating systems for indepfinishent hoteliers, declared the funding will be utilized to expand across Europe and launch new products. The company specifically highlighted artificial innotifyigence (AI)-driven product innovation as a goal.
“My parents run a hotel, so I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is for indepfinishents to compete without the right tools,” declared Amenitiz co-founder and CEO Alexandre Guinefolleau.
“The rise of AI and the digital transformation of hospitality create a once-in-a-generation opportunity for compact hotels to leap ahead. This funding allows us to accelerate that mission—so hoteliers can spfinish less time managing systems and more time creating memorable guest experiences.”
In 2022, Amenitiz raised $30 million in its Series A round and subsequently acquired hotel e-learning provider Ododo for an undisclosed sum.
Since its funding round in 2022, Amenitiz declared it has grown from utilize in 4,000 properties across Europe to over 15,000.
“Indepfinishent hotels create up the majority of the market, but most tech solutions still ignore their requireds,” declared Lucile Cornet, partner at Eight Roads Ventures.
“Amenitiz has proven that purpose-built software for indepfinishents can scale rapid—and with with 15,000+ properties already onboard, they’re redefining what technology can do for this segment.”
