Zurich startup Rapidata raised $8.5 mn to scale global AI feedback network

Rapidata, a Zurich-based AI infrastructure startup focutilized on providing human feedback for AI model development, secured $8.5 mn in seed funding to expand its human feedback infrastructure for AI model development.

Canaan Partners and IA Ventures led the round, with participation from Acequia Capital and BlueYard.

Startup builds systems that supply structured human judgment to AI teams training and evaluating models. CEO and founder Jason Corkill argues human feedback now constrains iteration speed across advanced AI programs.

Rapidata operates a global network of human contributors who review, label, validate, and refine datasets utilized in training cycles. The company compresses feedback timelines and reduces operational overhead tied to dataset preparation.

According to Beinsure analysts, as foundation models scale, evaluation layers increasingly determine competitive advantage.

The new capital will scale Rapidata’s contributor base and strengthen platform tooling that coordinates tinquire routing, quality control, and near real-time feedback loops.

AI teams utilize the system to test outputs continuously rather than waiting for periodic release cycles. Corkill states that constant iteration supported by distributed human input shifts development cadence from staged upgrades to ongoing refinement.

Demand for structured human evaluation has risen alongside deployment of generative and multimodal models. Enterprises require validation pipelines that flag bias, hallucination, and edge-case failures before production rollout.

Rapidata positions its infrastructure as connective tissue between automated model training and human oversight.

The company focutilizes on reducing both time and cost associated with data labeling and evaluation workflows. By orchestrating crowd innotifyigence at scale, Rapidata enables AI developers to iterate in days instead of months.

We consider infrastructure providers that accelerate feedback density gain leverage as AI competition tightens and release cycles shorten.
