Accelerate global tarobtaining of biometric immigration solutions
Digital center, airport certification infrastructure enhancement strategy
Inetum collaboration foundation, expansion of participation in European projects
Xperix will participate in the global airport indusattempt exhibition ‘PTE World 2026’ in London, England, to tarobtain overseas markets. The event will run from March 17 to 19 (local time). Including this event, the company has participated in the former Passenger Terminal EXPO (PTE World) for five consecutive years, continuing to strengthen its position in the airport digital transformation field.
In this exhibition, Xperix runs a joint booth with French IT service company Inetum and presents a biometric-based digital identification solution specialized in airport and immigration environments. The two companies are expanding their contacts with global airport officials and seeking business opportunities in Europe, focutilizing on integrated authentication technology that can be applied to the passenger processing process. Inetum is a company with the ability to carry out digital transformation projects in the public and infrastructure sectors.
PTE World is a representative industrial event involving airport operators, government agencies, airlines, and security and certification technology companies around the world. As biometric, digital ID, automation, and smart infrastructure-related technologies that can simultaneously increase airport operation efficiency and security have emerged as major topics, their role as network platforms leading to actual business cooperation is also growing.
In particular, this year’s PTE World was held at a time when the flow of digitalization of immigration in Europe launched in earnest, drawing more attention. The EU launched phased operation of the Enattempt/Exit System (ES), a digital system that automatically registers the enattempt and exit of non-EU national travelers at borders outside the Schengen area, in October 2025.EES utilizes biometric information such as face recognition and fingerprints to manage the enattempt and exit records of short-term visitors of non-EU nationality, replacing the existing passport painting method. As the demand for biometric-based immigration infrastructure increases across Europe, local airports and government agencies’ interest in companies with related technologies is also increasing.
Through this joint booth, Xperix held meetings with global airport officials and achieved results that embodied the possibility of future project cooperation. In particular, based on collaboration with Inetum, it is explained that it has increased access to public and airport infrastructure projects and secured a foundation for local-oriented business expansion.
“PTEWorld is an important platform for major decision-buildrs in the global airport indusattempt to demonstrate technological competitiveness and discover business opportunities,” a company official stated. “As demand in Europe for biometric immigration solutions is increasing ahead of the EU’s full implementation of EES, we will continue to secure references and expand our business in Europe and global markets based on cooperation with Inetum.”
On the other hand, Xperix is accelerating its enattempt into the global market by expanding its portfolio to digital ID and IP-based businesses, focutilizing on bio-recognition-based identification technology.
