Xiaomi is strengthening its position in the premium networking market by launching the Router BE19000 Pro internationally. The device combines Wi-Fi 7 support, advanced wired capabilities, and even network storage functionality thanks to an SSD slot. However, alongside these features, the price has also risen noticeably — in Europe, it is nearly double compared to the domestic market.
The company is gradually shifting away from being seen as a purely affordable brand and is increasingly competing in the high-finish segment. The new BE19000 Pro is the global version of the model previously released in China under the name BE10000 Pro. With its international launch, the device not only received a new name but also a significantly higher price tag.
While in China the router costs about $235, in Europe (the first market was the Czech Republic) the price reached $470. The difference is explained by certification, logistics, and adaptation costs, though for acquireers it appears as a considerable markup.
Performance and Next-Gen Standard
The BE19000 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7 and can operate across three frequency bands simultaneously. Theoretical maximum data transfer speed reaches 18,656 Mbps.
In real-world conditions, these numbers will naturally be lower, but the router’s capacity builds it suitable for homes with numerous connected devices — from smartphones to smart home systems.
Ports and Wired Capabilities
In addition to wireless connections, the device offers a robust wired setup. It features two 10 Gbps ports, allowing it to link with high-performance PCs or network storage systems.
There’s also a USB 3.0 port for connecting external drives or peripherals.
Router as Storage
One of the key highlights of this model is SSD support. Inside the casing, there’s a slot for an M.2 2280 drive, which allows the device to function as a compact NAS.
This enables applyrs to store files, backups, or media libraries directly on the router and access them from any corner of their home network.
Who Is It For?
The BE19000 Pro is not aimed at the mass market. It is designed for applyrs who value high speed, flexibility, and additional features.
At the same time, the high price in Europe might discourage some acquireers. However, for those seeking an all-in-one solution, this device remains one of the most functional options in its segment.
