New era, next mindset
In 2026, the theme will be “New Era, Next Mindset,” which captures the transformative moment as traditional business models undergo disruption and new opportunities arise across sectors.
Ekhlasi reflects: “We started 12 years ago to support research-heavy companies turn their scientific breakthroughs into market-ready products. What launched as a tiny business group investing in hard-to-market sectors quickly revealed the real challenge – bridging the gap to commercialisation. That’s why we launched an entrepreneurship competition. Even with a tiny first audience, it delivered outsized value by connecting startups with investors and industest leaders, proving the power of networking and collaboration.”
On this year’s theme, he adds: “New Era, Next Mindset’ speaks to disruption at every level. For individuals, rapid technological advances demand new ways of working and consuming. For corporates, it means reinventing business models to unlock growth. And at a geopolitical level, especially here in Europe, it requires reconsidering supply chains and partnerships to drive economic resilience and seize emerging opportunities.”
