German startup Voltfang has officially inaugurated its battery storage factory in Aachen, marking the launch of Europe’s largest second-life battery facility. The Voltfang Future Fab, houtilized in the former site of insolvent electric vehicle (EV) buildr Next.e.GO, builds stationary storage systems from utilized EV batteries and surplus automotive cells.
