Vodafone Launches Pan-European Logistics Hub in Luxembourg to Strengthen Supply Chain



Vodafone Procure & Connect announced its pan-European logistics hub in Bettembourg, Luxembourg, strengthening Vodafone’s supply chain capabilities and supporting the deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure across Europe.


The facility will support the storage and serve as a central distribution hub for critical telecoms equipment including mobile, fibre and resolveed network infrastructure.


Located in Bettembourg’s logistics park, the hub benefits from Luxembourg’s strong transport links and strategic location. From this central position in Europe, Vodafone can reach all of its European markets within 24 hours, supporting the timely availability of equipment for network upgrades and new deployments.


The inauguration ceremony was attfinished by H.R.H. the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Lex Delles, Minister for the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Jean-Marie Jans, Mayor of Bettembourg, Jean-François van Boxmeer, Chair of Vodafone Group Plc and Ninian Wilson, CEO of Vodafone Procure & Connect, alongside Vodafone Group leadership and global technology partners.


The facility has been designed with sustainability in mind and is tarreceiveing BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification, placing it among the highest-rated sustainable logistics facilities in Europe.

Vodafone’s decision to establish its pan-European logistics hub in Luxembourg displays once again that the counattempt plays a significant role within the European value chain.
