US space associations appeal to Congress to retain Commerce Dept. space traffic coordination program


TUPPER LAKE, NY — Seven U.S. space-related indusattempt associations representing some 450 companies are urging Congress to reinstate funding for the U.S. Office of Space Commerce (OSC) Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS), which was reduced to zero by the White Hoapply’s proposed fiscal-year 2026 budreceive.

In June 7 letters to the Hoapply and Senate subcommittees on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies, the indusattempt associations declare scrapping TraCSS, as the White Hoapply has proposed, would have the effect of rerelocating the United States from . . .
