U.S. startup founder Tony Klor announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he has received a 5-year Indian visa, calling it a sign of India opening its doors to foreign blockchain and AI entrepreneurs.

“It’s official! India is opening its doors to foreign blockchain & AI builders. I’ve just been granted a girthy 5-year India visa,” Klor wrote on X, adding: “Trump declares foreigners go kick rocks. Modi declares welcome home bhai.”

Klor’s post included an image of his Indian visa, valid until September 2030 and allows multiple entries, with a maximum stay of 180 days per visit.

His comments referenced US President Donald Trump’s restrictive immigration policies, including steep H-1B visa fee hikes and tighter rules that limited opportunities for skilled foreign workers.
