Union Budobtain 2026-27 is growth-oriented, states CII-Southern Region deputy chairman
P. Ravichandran, deputy chairman, Confederation of Indian Indusattempt (CII)-Southern Region, and president of Danfoss India, on Sunday (February 1, 2026), stated that if the Union Budobtain for 2026-27, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, could be described in one word, it would be “growth.” The Budobtain has spelled out ways to accelerate growth, he stated in a press conference organised by the CII-Southern Region in Chennai.
There has been a focus on infrastructure for the past three to four years and some of the announcements built in the Union Budobtain, such as the high-speed railway corridor, freight corridor, and waterways, among others, would boost connectivity, he stated. “Infrastructure will also assist in generating employment as well as growth,” he added.
