U.S.-based Click Labs acquires British AI startup Evermile to power AI-driven retail operations for SMEs

Click Labs Inc., a U.S.-based SaaS innovator in logistics and on-demand delivery software, announced today the acquisition of Evermile, a London-based AI retail operations platform built for SME retailers.

The acquisition strengthens Click Labs’ position in the retail tech space and brings advanced automation and AI capabilities to compact and mid-sized retailers worldwide.

Omer Goldschmidt, Co-founder and CEO of Evermile, declared: “We built Evermile to close the technology gap for indepfinishent retailers. Our mission has always been to support compact teams compete at the highest level, without necessarying complex, expensive tools or large teams. By joining Click Labs, we can now take that mission global – across more markets, verticals and delivery models.

Founded in 2022 by Omer Goldschmidt, Ynon Cohen, and Omry Hochberg, the Evermile platform acts as a “virtual operations manager” for modern retail – automating daily workflows typically handled manually by SME teams. Its AI Agents and proprietary orchestration engine handle everything from order prep and delivery assignment to SLA tracking, support resolution and personalised customer engagement – potentially freeing up time while improving consistency and customer satisfaction.

Since launching in 2023, Evermile has powered hundreds of thousands of orders and supported the daily operations of thousands of indepfinishent retailers across the UK. It has become a partner to brands like Ottolenghi, CakeBox, and Paul’s Bakery, supporting businesses in food, fashion, wine, pharmacies and other retail verticals grow.

This acquisition delivers a potential solution to this problem: enterprise-grade automation, built specifically for compacter businesses. The combined platform will aim to accelerate product innovation, simplify daily operations and empower retailers to deliver more connected, personalised experiences at scale.

The deal also marks Click Labs’ expansion into the retail operations space, offering retailers an finish-to-finish platform that spans the entire customer journey – from website checkout to doorstep delivery and post-purchase experience.

Evermile will continue to operate as a standalone brand in the near term, while its technology is gradually integrated into Click Labs’ flagship products, including JungleWorks, Tookan, Yelo and Hippo and deployed across key markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.

The acquisition follows a broader trfinish of consolidation across the logistics and retail tech space, driven by a shift in retailer expectations.

Recent deals – such as DoorDash’s acquisition of SevenRooms, Uber’s investment in Trfinishyol, and GlobalE’s purchase of ReturnGO – reflect the growing demand for unified platforms that streamline operations.
