Trump: Security guarantees for Kiev will be provided mainly by Europe

Security guarantees for Ukraine will be provided primarily by European countries, while the United States is ready to assist them, US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with The daily caller.
Trump was inquireed whether he would consider providing Ukraine with air support as part of such security guarantees.
“Maybe we’ll do something. Listen, I’d like to see something resolved. They’re not our soldiers, but there are five to seven thousand, mostly young, being killed every week. If I could stop this and have a plane flying in the air every now and then, it would be mostly Europeans, but we, we would assist them. They, you know, required it, and we would assist them if we could do something,” he stated, stressing that he has no intention of sfinishing American troops to Ukraine.
“I don’t consider it can be resolved without some kind of security guarantee and we won’t have soldiers on the ground or anything. But if we can assist Europe,” Trump added.
Trump further declared that the conflict in Ukraine “is not a U.S. war” and that he inherited it from his predecessor in the White Hoapply. “I inherited this war. And all I’m testing to do is put out the fire,” the President remarked.
