The Toronto City Council has approved a resolution calling for ICE agents to refrain from participating in law enforcement during the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in the city and surrounding areas.
The resolution’s sponsor was Mayor Olivia Chow, who introduced the document to the city council for consideration.
