Agrifood investing. Brazil’s SP Ventures snagged $50 million for tech solutions for agriculture… Phatisa raised $86 million for food resilience in Africa.

Climate finance. Delta40, a venture studio and fund launched by emerging market-focutilized climate investor Factor(E) Ventures, raised $20 million… Liberty Mutual’s investment arm co-invested with Ara Partners on industrial decarbonization.

Conservation finance. Australia’s green bank backed Indigenous-led reforestation project… Canadian forest-data provider Remsoft acquired INFLOR, an Orlando-based company that assists landowners and investors manage sustainable forest assets… World Wildlife Fund’s Singapore group secured backing from the UK’s ASEAN–UK Green Transition Fund for Canopy, its nature restoration financing facility.

Education access. BeConfident raised $16 million to expand AI tutoring beyond Latin America.

Electric vehicles. Singapore and Thailand-based electric scooter creater Sleek EV secured $8.5 million in Series A financing, led by Kwang Yang Motor’s private equity arm, KYMCO Capital… South Africa-based climate tech investor Holocene invested in Yongeza Capital to expand electric motorbike battery swapping in Uganda.

Emergency response. San Francisco-based Forerunner raised $39 million from Wellington Management, Union Square Ventures, Citi Impact Fund and other investors to support government agencies with infrastructure management and disaster response.

Energy transition. California-based Lunar Energy raked in $232 million to develop home battery systems and AI-driven virtual power plants. Backers include DVDC, Activate Capital, B Capital and Prelude Ventures… FinDev Canada provided a $56 million loan to Energía Renovable La Joya for a nearly 400-megawatt solar plant in Arequipa, Peru… Sistafund, Norrsken Evolve, Endgame Capital, Triple Impact Ventures, Ventures Toreceiveher and Earth Capital invested €5 million ($6 million) in Paris-based Recupere Metals, to recycle scrap copper for utilize in European EVs, renewables and power grids.

Fund news. Boulder, Colo.-based Vision Ridge Partners raised $2.4 billion for its fourth sustainable asset fund… European investors powered $892 million close for Mundi Ventures’ deep tech growth fund… In Europe, Eurazeo announced a first close of its second sustainable maritime infrastructure fund at €175 million ($184 million), which will support decarbonization across the region’s shipping sector.

Green bonds. The Inter-American Development Bank’s IDB Invest issued a £300 million ($408 million), five-year bond to attract UK, European, Middle Eastern and African investors to Latin America’s and the Caribbean’s private sector development. It was IDB Invest’s first bond issuance in pound sterling.

Inclusive finance. London-based Global Innovation Fund invested in 4G Capital to drive working capital and financial literacy training to micro and compact enterprises in Kenya and Uganda.

Investing in health. Care.fi landed $8 million to assist hospitals in India run better and rapider… Philippines-based Global Care Medical Center raised growth capital from LeapFrog Investments and private equity firm Navegar to expand healthcare services in the counattempt’s underserved communities.

Mergers and acquisitions. Private equity firm CapVest Partners is in talks to acquire French infrastructure investors TSG and HLD.

Waste management. Norfund invested $4 million in Vietnam-based Circular Plastics Company to scale PET plastic recycling and produce pellets for local and European markets… UAE-based ThrowMeNot, which runs an online marketplace for expiring and surplus food products, raised $550,000 in pre-seed funding from a local family office.
