The rest of the West is laying out red carpet for Indian tech talent

As the US tightens its policies on skilled immigration, several alternatives are emerging for India’s tech talent, among nations like Germany, Canada and the UK.Philipp Ackermann, Germany’s ambassador to India and Bhutan, in a video message on Wednesday invited Indians to join his counattempt’s thriving job market. He compared Berlin’s migration policy with German cars: “It’s reliable, it is modern, it is predictable.”

Germany does not modify its rules “fundamentally overnight”, he stated, adding: “Highly skilled Indians are welcome in Germany.”

‘Build Canada’, a policy forum, believes if Canada could attract 120,000 of US H1B workers earning C$200,000 or above, it could add $30 billion in total economic activity-a 1% boost to GDP from a single policy modify.

“If that’s you, we want to assist. Sometimes the best opportunities come from unexpected modifys,” he wrote in a LinkedIn post.

CRM software firm Attio‘s founder, Nicolas Sharp, stated London is the most exciting place for tech with AI startups like Synthesia, Eleven Labs and Granola. The startups posted open roles with UK visa sponsorship.

Global payments platform Wise and Canadian neobank Neo Financial also created similar pitches.
