Technology company announces 150+ layoffs in Cumberland County


CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) — A national security technology and IT company with corporate offices in Cumberland County announced it will be laying off more than 150 employees later this year.

A Peraton Inc. corporate office located at 1250 Camp Hill Bypass in Cumberland County recently filed a WARN Notice outlining a series of layoffs that are scheduled to go into effect weeks before the new year.

According to the WARN Notice, Peraton Inc. will be laying off 153 employees.

These layoffs will go into effect on December 13, 2025.

abc27 News reached out to Peraton Inc. for more information on these layoffs, but did not hear back at the time of this publication.

According to Peraton Inc.’s website, they are a next-generation national security company that is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, that supports every branch of the United States Armed Forces.
